Answers Corp. Buys FAQ Farm For $2 Mln Cash

Looks like Answers.com realized that user-generated content was a good thing and bought FAQ Farm creating a new company called Frequently Answered Questions Farm.com.
Answers Corp., the creators of search engine Answers.com, marked its first foray into the popular area of user-generated content by acquiring wiki-based community site FAQ Farm for $2 million. FAQ Farm, founded in 2002, has 280,000 questions and answers written and updated by its 100,000 registered users.
